Validating interfaces

Hi,
I'm trying to setup the VAB for the first time. Since I'm using a lot of interfaces in my projects I looked for adding validation on the interface level.

Configuring the validation using the VS2005 configuration editor, I set my ruleset. But, during validation, the interface rules are not loaded. Does someone has any sample doing this. I would aspect that rulesets for all implemented interfaces should also be loaded. (I also tried abstract class without success)

Currently the VAB only searches for rulesets on classes, not interfaces. Sorry!

Tom,
will this be supported in future releases?

The lack of this implementation will hold me (any many others) off to implementing the VAB. E.g. I use a base interface for all my domain classes, and I don't want to redefine this validation on it's properties for every class, that would be painfull and will introduce lot's of missing validations.

A pitty since I do like the way you can re-use the validations in the UI...

We haven't made any scoping decisions about the next version yet. The best thing to do to ensure this stays on the radar is to log an Issue on the issue tracker and vote on it.
