DAAB with ODP.Net

There is an issue relating to using DAAB with the MS Oracle Client, that prevents binary data > 32k from being inserted in an Oracle database.

I have not found a work around for this issue. I have found code to modify the DAAB to use the Oracle .net client (ODP.Net)

However, the issue I mentioned above still exists.

I realize that MS will most likley never fix thier Oracle client to be fully compaitble with Oracle DB's.

I had hoped that the people who produce the DAAB would include code to use the ODP.Net API to it's fullest extent.

I am limited in my C# abilities as I am a vb.net guy.

So, my question is, will there ever be support for Oracle in the DAAB. If not, has anyone run into the same situation as myself and does anyone have a workaround for this.

For the question plans see this: http://entlib.codeplex.com/Thread/View.aspx?ThreadId=39533 . I'm not that knowlegeable when it comes to Oracle, is the issue you are raising is about CLOB? or has something to do with that? If yes, you can take a look at this http://www.pcreview.co.uk/forums/thread-1237388.php
