ObjectBuilder and ObjectBuilder2

OK, so EnterpriseLibrary (3.1) used ObjectBuilder. I also use Unity (which includes ObjectBuilder2).

You can NOT replace ObjectBuilder with ObjectBuilder2......And I can not Find Source for ObjectBuilder.....

Any suggestions on resolving this (using an existing DLL is not really a viable option if it can at all be avoided.)...

Hi,

I'm not sure what the question is, I assume that you are asking if they can co-exist. If that is the case, according to this threads,.. you can use objectbuilder and objectbuilder2 side-by-side:

Yes, they can co-exist. But I am not easily able (for various reasons) to use non-source versions of software for this project.

Therefore the alternatives are:

1) Find Source for ObjectBuilder
2) Modify EntLib to use ObjectBuilder2
3) Go through a painful process to get approval for using the prebuild ObjectBuilder assembly
4) Reverse engineer ObjectBuilder
