ORA-06512: at "SYS.DBMS_UTILITY" Calling GetStoredProcCommand Title is required

We have 3 Windows 2003 Web Servers in production with Oracle 9 database. The problem is this, now and them we get the following error from 1 Web server only:

ORA-06564: object pkg_int_myworkspace.upload_doc does not exist ORA-06512: at "SYS.DBMS_UTILITY", line 114 ORA-06512: at line 1

All 3 Web Servers point to the same database server/instance, their is no load balancing involved. Once this error appears, the only way to fix it is either restart the application pool or restart IIS.

What is strange is that the other 2 Web Servers don't have this same problem, though problem does appear on all 3 web servers but never at the same time.

We are using version 3.1 and we are not able to reproduce this problem in dev.

Could someone provide some support, guidance etc as I am running out of ideas.

Many thanks

Hi Paul,

Is there any additional information? How are you using DAAB? Are you relying on package mappings? What do these Oracle-specific error codes mean?

Hi Fernando,

Thanks for the reply.

I am using Enterprise Library 3.1 with ODP.NET (Oracle).  The error we are getting is ORA-06512, we don't get any other error message.

The error codes inidcate that the stored proc does not exists when it does.

This application works fine for a while (could be half a day or never have a problem) then one web server thinks it cannot locate the stored proc.
