Hello all,

I want to start using Microsoft Enterprise Library with Cryptography Application Block to do the authentication security in my website.

I'm concern about performance of the framework, how much overload the server and if you recommend this for a website with high-traffic?

Which .NET Framework uses the EntLib 5.0?

Best Regards.

Enterprise Library 5.0 requires Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 with Service Pack 1 or Microsoft .NET Framework 4.0.

I haven't seen any performance benchmarks for the Cryptography Application Block.  If I were to guess I would think that the cryptography
itself would be the performance drag since it can be fairly heavy.  As in most things performance related I would recommend to construct some tests
and measure for your specific scenario(s).
