Easy migration 4.1 to 5.* for dummies

Hello,

I am upgrading my miniframeworks, shared libraries and web applications from .NET 3.5 to .NET 4.

In this process, I also intend to upgrade the EntLib version used from 4.1 to 5 (5.1 and contrib if it is possible).

My miniframework use EntLib 4.1.

I want migrate easily without no problems in production servers.

Any good and easily started guide for migration ? any checklists for migration ? any issues, troubleshoting, fix for migration to Entlib 5 ?

migrate to have a zero-impact for backwards compatibility (from MSDN article found here http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/magazine/ee335709.aspx and from 4.0 release notes; specifically the 2nd bullet listed here: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc511712.aspx#Changes_That_Affect_All).

But I'm having trouble reconciling the design goal for backwards compatability while removing namespaces, classes and attributes. Any thoughts?

Any input/suggestions you could give around accommodating these now deprecated items would be appreciated as well...
