Logging Application BLock Swallowing Exception?

I am using Enterprise Library 4.1 in my application that I am developing, specifically, the logging application block and exception handling application block.  I created a custom trace listener in my extension dll.  I found that logging application block is swallowing exceptions.  I wonder whether this is by design or by accident.  How can I overwrite that to let exceptions bubble up in my extension?

I was hoping that the "Unprocessed Category" in the logging application block can catch and log all unhandled exceptions, but it doesn't seem to do that at all.

I would appreciate any help on this.

It is by design.  Most people wouldn't want their logging facility to cause the exceptions in an application.  The trace listeners under the Unprocessed Category handles logs which does not match any category.  The trace listeners under Logging Errors and Warnings logs all errors which occurred while performing logging.
