EntLib 1.0 Encrypt/Decrypt .config file

I am creating a setup program for an ASP.NET 1.1 application that uses EntLib 1.0 - June 2005.  EntLibConfig was used to encrypt the dataConfiguration.config using the RijndaelManaged algorithm.  What I would like to do in the setup program is to decrypt the file, read the settings, write changes back to the config file, and then encrypt the file for use by DAAB.

Is this possible and any pointers to go about this will greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

I wasn't able to use that version of entlib but isn't there a documentation showing how to encrypt and decrypt using a symmetric provider?  You also need to make sure you provide the key file in your setup project.

This may also help - http://entlib.codeplex.com/Thread/View.aspx?ThreadId=34997

By the way, would you want to decrypt it and write the unencrypted version back to the config?  And what file are you referring to in this phrase - "and then encrypt the file for use by DAAB"?
