Microsoft.Practices.ObjectBuilder.dll and SandCastle Doc Compiler

I have a class library that uses Caching Application Block and it is fully documented.
I wanted to use Microsoft Sandcastle (June 2007 CTP) to generate/compile the API documentation into .CHM file.

I added my class library DLL file and the following associated Application Block DLLs and their corresponding XML doc files.
  1. Microsoft.Practices.EnterpriseLibrary.Caching.dll (automatically included Microsoft.Practices.EnterpriseLibrary.Caching.xml file)
  2. Microsoft.Practices.EnterpriseLibrary.Common.dll (automatically included Microsoft.Practices.EnterpriseLibrary.Common.xml file)
  3. Microsoft.Practices.ObjectBuilder.dll

The problem is that Microsoft.Practices.ObjectBuilder.dll does not have its XML doc file
and I cannot compile the API documentation since the XML file is missing.

I already tried looking for the Visual Studio Project that builds the Microsoft.Practices.ObjectBuilder.dll file,
but it seems like it is NOT included in the Ent. Library source code provided (please correct me if I am wrong).

My questions are
  • How and where can I get the Microsoft.Practices.ObjectBuilder.xml file?
  • Is the source code for Microsoft.Practices.ObjectBuilder.dll included with the Ent. Library solution?

Any feedback would be really appreciated guys :-)

Thanks,
Soe

Hi,

The code is not included, but you can get it from http://www.codeplex.com/ObjectBuilder/Release/ProjectReleases.aspx?ReleaseId=1613.

Hope this helps,
Fernando

Thank you very much Fernando.
This gives me the ability to compile the source code and get the XML doc file.

Thanks,
