Release Notes

This is the first demo of the Logging Application Block port to Silverlight, showcasing Notification TraceListener, Isolated Storage TraceListener and Tracing support.

Pre-reqs:
  • Install the latest version of Silverlight SDK
  • Download and compile Enterprise Library Silverlight Integration Pack - code drop 3
  • Unity for Silverlight 2.0 (included in the drop)

complie failed 1, need to refer the release reference, and delete common.silverlight and logging.silverlight 2, use this in configuration xaml. xmlns:el="clr-namespace:Microsoft.Practices.EnterpriseLibrary.Logging.Configuration;assembly=Microsoft.Practices.EnterpriseLibrary.Logging.Silverlight" MaxSizeInKilobytes="2" I suggest to update this sample.

It's take a bit to walk through the initialization of the Unity container and how the configuration.xml file is turned into objects. The activity scope is nice having each one stack but maintaining the same activity id. Seems like a good direction. Would have been 5 stars if there was some direction on how to consume without the EnterpriseLibraryContainer.Current as the basis for Unity.
