Debug symbols (PDB) availablitiy for precompiled binaries?

Topics: Logging Application Block

Hi,
as we plan to update to the new version of the Logging Application Block and we intend to use
the precompiled and strongnamed binaries (shipped with the installation), the question arose, if there
are matching debug symbols available (downloadable, symbol server etc.)?
Thanks & best regards

Hi Michael -

We're working on making the PDBs available - stay tuned.

Tom has there been any movement on these? Are you expecting these to be a separate package, available via a MS symbol server or unknown at this point.

Many thanks,

Thanks for the reminder. We're working on putting them on the MS Symbol Server, but we've never done this before so I was waiting on advice on how to do this. I'll do a ping -t to try to move this forward.

Still trying to figure out the symbols server processes, but in the meantime we just uploaded a zip of the PDBs to the Release. Let me know if this helps.

Hi Tom,

for the moment, that helps a lot! Nevertheless PDB on the MS symbol server would be more convenient.

Thanks
