what is keyAlgorithmStorageProvider

is the MS enterprise library related property "keyAlgorithmStorageProvider" obsolete now? Because I have a project in framework 1.1 which includes

<keyAlgorithmStorageProvider xsi:nil="true" />

in web.config file. when I upgraded that project to framework version 2.0, I get the error, xsi:nil is not a valid attribute for it, while building the project. so i removed it and everything is fine.

Hi,

Please see this FAQ item regarding the upgrade from version 1.x to higher. http://entlib.codeplex.com/wikipage?title=Is%20it%20possible%20to%20upgrade%20a%20version%201.x%20Enterprise%20Library%20configuration%20file%20to%20any%20newer%20versions%3f&referringTitle=EntLib%20FAQ .

I am using the same old configuration file and everything is working fine. That means the 'keyAlgorithmStorageProvider' tag is not necessary now.
