Logging errors to a web service

I am currently making use of the Logging and Exception handling application blocks in VB.NET applications. Up to this point in time everything has been logged to a flat file. However, I would like to extend this to post critical errors to a web service, which feeds a dashboard type application we use for monitoring the status of running processes. I'm wondering if anyone can point me in the directon of some examples on how to set up and configure this. I am assuming I need to make use of custom trace listener?

Thanks in advance for any replies.

The Logging QuickStarts for Enterprise Library 2.0 has an example of creating a custom TraceListener, called DebugTraceListener. You can use that as a guide or check out the Application Block Software Factory that is new ( but still in CTP ) that can help you create new TraceListeners.

Dave
