The Enterprise Library 3.0 January 2007 CTP includes pre-build and signed binaries.

I was however not able to locate the debug symbols (PDB files) for the pre-build assemblies.

Does anybody know if they are available?

You can install the source code, compile it, etc. which will give you the PDB files.

You install the souce code via the Enterprise Library Source Code Installer in the Enterprise Library 3.0 Program Group. Be careful with long file names. I would install it close to the root hard drive directory, like c:\EntLib3Src.

We haven't shipped the .pdb files for the strong-named assemblies in the CTP, but we plan on doing this for the final release.

Great to hear that the .pdb files will be included in the final release.

We now have to change all the project files and enable .pdb file generation for the release configuration. Are there also plans to also generate .pdb files by default for the release configuration?
