DAAB Database-independant client code

Hello everyone,

I am doing a study on the Enterprise Libraries and my first though was that the DAAB allows developers to write client code independent regarding databases,

which include the possibility to perform sql text queries with parameters.

It seems that the BuildParameterName of the OracleDatabase does not automatically append the semi colon required for oracle parameters.

Is this a bug ? or am i missing something ?

Thank you

Yohann

Do all versions of Oracle database require semi colon for their parameters?  I haven't worked on an Oracle database so I don't know but I saw some examples without semi colons.  If the convention for the parameter names in Oracle databases differ, its probably the reason why the OracleDatabase class didn't have its own implementation of the BuildParameterName.

Of course it's also entire possible that this was overlooked.
