Guid-named log files

How can I avoid having these files? I want to have them in a single file only.

Are you using the LoggingHandler?  If yes, set the UseDefaultLogger property to true.

The behavior if a tracelistener is trying to access a file that is currently in use is to create a file with the same name prefixed by a guid.  If you're usage is not in the context of a LoggingHandler, the EnterpriseLibrary ships with the Distributor Service which allows you to distribute your logs to a central destination.  It is used with the MSMQ Tracelistener.  For a detailed instruction on how to use this, refer to the documentation : http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd203267.aspx
