New to EntLib; What is the benefit of the Security Module vs direct AzMan?

Is there any material out there that compares the Entlib 4.1 security module to the ASP.NET Membership object (with SQL, or AzMan), or the direct COM object AzMan?

I'm looking for technical documentation that talks about how I can authorize access (I believe the ASP Membership object will only let me authorize by Role, not Task)

I’m also interested in learning about connection optimization (pooling etc.)  and multi-domain scenarios with forms-based, and interop with Winforms clients.
