EL and automatic logging

I am new to the EL and wondering if the there is a way to configure the data access libraries to automatically log using the logging library (or any other for that matter).  I saw an implementation a while ago of some DAL that used events to automatically log all database calls.  This basically sames time and cleans up the code as one would not have to surround their data access code with custom logging. This is extremely useful for performance monitoring as well.

Hi,

You can try configuring a your config with a Logging Application Block which has a database listener. Also you should configure a Data Access Application Block for Database connectivity. And lastly, you should configure the Policy Injection Application Block with your Matching Rule(ex. Tag Attribute Matching Rule) and a Logging Handler.
