How to force deletion of isolated storage file

I am using entlib 3.1 caching with isolated storage (smart client application).  How can I force the deletion of the cache when I make major changes to my objects?  My general practice is to just flush the cache whenever I make a change to one of the classes I'm storing in the it.  However, certain kinds of changes (like just change the type of a field from int to bool) cause me to get in a situation where I can't get hold of the cache manager in order to flush it.  It seems when I call CacheFactory.GetCacheManager() it tries to deserialize whatever's already in the cache and throws an exception.  I get find the file name in isolated storage, because I cant get a CacheManager.  Any ideas?

Thanks,
Bill
