I have decide to modify some source code of several internal classes of the Enterprise Library to suit my tasks.
Should I change the assembly name for the changed block ?
Where can I found any recommendations about changing the source code of the Enterprise Library ?

You can find more information about extending Enterprise Library in the documentation.

There is a section entitled, Extending the Enterprise Library, that talks about extending and modification of the source code in general. You can also find specific information about how to do this for a block within each section that discusses a particular application block.

In general, I recommend extending the individual blocks through known extension points and adding the new functionality in your own assemblies.

There is no detailed documentation on how to modify the source code as it really depends on your individual needs.
