Using entlib to store custom objects in config file

I am trying to figure out the best strategy to read and write custom objects from and to my app.config.  How can enterprise library help me in that? and what is the best practice for doing that?

Thanks.

Hi,

Starting with EntLib 2.0, configuration serialization is performed with the .NET FX declarative configuration support in the System.Configuration assembly. You can start looking at the documentation for ConfiguratationElement and ConfigurationSection in MSDN. EntLib configuration code adds some generic classes to support collections of heterogeneous configuration elements.

You may also want to look into the Application Settings support. It provides a simpler, tool-based approach to authoring, and it also supports user scoped settings.
