Hi guys. I'm pretty new to EntLib (installed v3.1), and my question is:
Since Entlib has all those app blocks like Security and others,
do I still need to maintain the usual configuration
options in web.config, about membership and role management
as if Entlib was not used at all ?
(You know, with membership providers and stuff like that which
you can find in all ASP.NET books for beginners- as I am )

Or instead, those needs are handled by the app blocks themselves ?

The features provided by EntLib's Security block (authorization and security caching) do not overlap with those provided by ASP.NET. If you need to do authentication or role management then you should use ASP.NET's features, or some equivalent implementation.
