I am creating a framework on MVC. Planning to use the application to connect with multiple data bases. Can i use Data Access application Block for this purpose? i should be able to connect from my servies to the Data Layer. In the data layer, i will be able to connect to any data base of the same structure(SQL,Oracle, DB2 etc) with the same DB sechema. And does the Data Access Application block compatiable with any ORM tools like Entity Framework / Subsonic?

Yes, you can use the DAAB on that scenario. You can switch to any database by modifying the configuration without recompiling your code. Regarding with your second question, I'm not sure to this but referring to what Chris Tavares has mentioned on this thread, it seems the best practice is to choose from either of the two. You may also want to check DAAB's Accessors which resembles like EF.
