Long delay in log messages reaching server

I'm using a LogWriter within a Silverlight client to log to the server, however it can take several seconds (10-30) before the server receives the message and persists it.

If I close the SL app after opting to log the message it will never reach the server. It would appear therefore that when the SL client actually sends the message that it is received almost instantly, however it takes a while before it sends.

Is this internal buffering within the Logging Application Block, and if so can it be adjusted? If it isn't, any suggestions?

Many thanks,

Have you set the SendImmediately property to true?

<el:RemoteServiceTraceListenerData LoggingServiceFactory="CustomBinding_ILoggingService" Name="remote"  SendImmediately="True"/>

Thank you! That did the trick. I must have somehow missed that in my searching. I was looking for an option such as BufferTime or BufferMessages="False".

Thanks again,
