Hi,

I've configured the Validation Block in WCF using configuration.

Interestingly I'm getting the unusual error message below:

Locating source for 'e:\Builds\EntLib\Latest\Source\Blocks\Validation\Src\Validation.WCF\ValidationParameterInspector.cs'. Checksum: MD5 {6e 7b 3f 86 a5 1f 3 a 9f 3 21 ce ca 2f 12 a2}
The file 'e:\Builds\EntLib\Latest\Source\Blocks\Validation\Src\Validation.WCF\ValidationParameterInspector.cs' does not exist.
Looking in script documents for 'e:\Builds\EntLib\Latest\Source\Blocks\Validation\Src\Validation.WCF\ValidationParameterInspector.cs'...
Looking in the projects for 'e:\Builds\EntLib\Latest\Source\Blocks\Validation\Src\Validation.WCF\ValidationParameterInspector.cs'.

Looking in directory 'C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio 10.0\VC\atlmfc\include\'...
The debug source files settings for the active solution indicate that the debugger will not ask the user to find the file: e:\Builds\EntLib\Latest\Source\Blocks\Validation\Src\Validation.WCF\ValidationParameterInspector.cs.
The debugger could not locate the source file 'e:\Builds\EntLib\Latest\Source\Blocks\Validation\Src\Validation.WCF\ValidationParameterInspector.cs'.

Not sure what I'm missing and why the above file is missing. Could someone please help me to resolve this issue.

Hi,

Are you getting this during debugging? It seems that it is more of an issue with Visual Studio. Can you try the proposed solution found on this link and see if it works?

I haven't encountered that exception yet but have you tried the solution from the link that I gave you?

Thanks Noel, doesn't look like it's serious issue. It only occurs in debug mode and works fine when deployed.
