I am using the Data Application Block on some servers now (W2K2003). Directly after using the library the memory pageout rate increased from about 4 units (whatever the unit consists of) to 10 on every machine on that I am using the EntLib 3.1.
I do not know what this means in detail (will it slow down the machine? Is it a side-effect by design?) but I think it is normally not good to increase the pageout.
The increase of the pageout rate starts directly after the first usage of EntLib Data Access block and remains after that. Also on the database server that I am accessing the pageout invreased from 4 to 10. Is there a simple technical explanation for this behaviour?

P.S. Before using EntLib I used ODBCConnection to connect to the same SQL server. Therefore the increase in pageouts are only related to the EntLib usage.

it seems that the problem with increased memory pageout rate occured on all our servers and it only coincidentally appeared after changing my apps to EntLib 3.1
