I am trying to log messages into flat file using Enterprise Library 4.1, I want to generate file name in dd-MM-yyyy[filename].log format, it is possible to do it?? and if yes then could you please help me out with what all configuration settings need to be done for it.

if dd-MM-yyyy[filename].log format is not possible, then [filename]dd-MM-yyyy.log file format will do.. right now the only format I can see working is [filename]yyyy-MM-dd.log ...

any kind of help would be highly appreciated.

I'm not aware of a way to have the file name be prefixed with the date.  However, suffixing it with the format dd-MM-yyyy is possible.  You simply need to specify dd-MM-yyyy in the Timestamp Pattern property of the Rolling Flat File Trace Listener.
