Hi, I've got a configured exception handling and logging handling blocks in my web app. I don't use trace listeners to log errors to Windows events log. But somehow my error messages still appear there. I don't want to have them and don't understand how they get there.

Is there a special handler that logs everything to Windows event log? Might it be due to enableTracing attribute is set to "true"? What else should I check?

In the end I found out that it was not a behavior of the Enterprise library, but rather default behavior of the ASP.NET 2.0. Here a couple of articles about it:

So, I've just added a section information to stop logging to windows event log:

<remove name="All Errors Default" />
<remove name="Failure Audits Default" />

Hope it will help anyone else :)
