Which is better as far as peformance goes: System.Web.Caching.Cache or the Caching Application Block in Enterprise Library 3.1 ?

Thanks.

if you are using EL then its better to use EL's caching Application Block as it provides more features than ASP.net web caching.
few: with ASP.net caching you can't specify both absoulteExpiration and SlidingExpiration but only one of them.
with EL caching you can specify both
if your application has multiple layers -then you can use ASP.net web caching only at the application layer level but you can use EL caching at any layer
and more...

My boss has decided for me that we won't use the Enterprise Library.

Thanks for your tips.
