DAAB methods, syntax and examples.

Topics: Data Access Application Block

I have been using Enterprise Library 3.1 for a short time and the more I dig deeper, the more I appreciate it. However, and I hope it is not just myself, I would like to know whether there is a kind of "Help" file that explains the syntax of DAAB methods and also some sort of explanatory examples. For instance, the method "UpdateDataSet". I have found a number of articles on the web, but most of them reflect to older versions of Enterprise Library.

Thank you for your cooperation.

Hi Nikos,

You should find plenty of information and samples in the Enterprise Library integrated help under topic "Data Access Application Block", including descriptions of the key scenarios and the design of the block.

You can access the help from VS 2005, but there is also a shortcut to it in the Enterprise Library program group.

Hope this helps,

Hello Fernando,

Thank you very much for your great help.
I had not realized that the EntLib Help is integrated into VS 2005 Help.
They have really done a great job.

Thanks again.
